After the body has been immersed in the bath, the massage is administered with a jet controlled by the physiotherapist, the pressure being adjusted depending on which areas of the body are being targeted (the legs, the hips, the stomach and the waist) and the individual’s sensitivity. This bath uses the Clementine natural mineral water, exclusive for the Thermes of Spa.


EFFECTS
The effect of this therapy is both stimulating and relaxing.
It stimulates muscle tone, restores equilibrium in the nervous system and the relaxation effect is clearly felt.
It is especially indicated for ailments of the musculoskeletal system, to alleviate pain and relax painful muscles.
It is also suitable for people suffering from cellulitis and poor circulation.

IN PRACTICE
Individual treatments are administered in “L’insitut by Thermes de Spa”.
Staff members are trained to ask questions and modify the therapy depending on the spa client’s situation and needs.
Bathrobe is provided.

PRECAUTION
In practice, contra-indications are non existent.
However asking the spa staff for their advice will allow you to confirm the benefit of this therapy in your case.
